I have recently developed my own style of being less representational and more painterly. 

The recognizable details in the images and forms I choose invite the viewer to see and think beyond the canvas, where they can add their own story.

I'm fascinated by how color and its use can convey an idea, a moment in time to transcend the viewers's feelings.

 During the painting process, I fully embrace the way the paint responds, often contributing in unanticipated and welcomed ways.
